3. Have you ever heard a smoke alarm?

4.  Make a loud beeping noise  It is designed to be loud enough to wake you at night  Smoke alarms give you an early signal to get out quick! Smoke Alarms:

5.  You should have a smoke alarm on every floor of your house  Inside and outside each bedroom  Hallways  Basements Where are your smoke alarms?

6.  Look for smoke alarms in your home  Have a parent or an adult test the alarm every month  Replace the batteries in your smoke alarm when you change the clocks You can help!!

7.  What do you do when your smoke alarm goes off?  1. Get out fast! Know 2 ways out  2. Meet in a designated meeting area  3. Call 911  Fires can be very scary. NEVER hide under your bed or in your closet!! Escape Plan

8.  When leaving your house, crawl low on the floor  Feel the door before opening it, if it is hot find another way out  If your clothes catch on fire stop, drop, and roll  Go to your designated meeting area outside and do not go back in the house Escape Plan
