HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY CULTURE & TRADITIONS We don’t have many traditions but we do like to stay true to our roots. My Dad is from a city in Ghana called Swedru and my mom is from a small town called Kumasi. My parents like to stay involved in their communities so they are often the ones to host Swedru meetings. It's just where people from the Swedru community gather to plan events that raise money to help better their hometown. My parents like to do as much as they could to give back and I think they always believed that charity begins at home.
