On Lesson Preparation Prepare for a whole chapter Read and think and find questions Read the chapter summer first to get a glance understanding Back to CE econ textbooks for reference, if needs arise

On Lesson Students: Whole-hearted listening and jog down something useful but not stated in reference books and/or notes Ask at the right time (the teacher will tell) Dedicated to Q & A session and group discussion Open a book for keeping your notes and findings through discussion

On Lesson Teacher: ‘T-1’policy: try to distribute note at least one day before teaching Conducting Q & A session while lecturing on main points and difficult concepts/theories Keeping small group discussion whenever needs arise

On Assignments Daily assignments: Worksheet per cycle ‘D+3’ policy: students have to hand in their assignments three days after distribution; the teacher marks and returns three days after the deadline Two types of worksheets: ‘take-away-worksheet’: do it at home ‘open-book-worksheet’: do it within specific time limit (of 15 minutes) during lesson without prior notice

On Assignments Special assignments: Empirical studies and mini-project Irregular and more will be held if time allowed Special worksheets: Being irregularly distributed Focus on current issues Economic concepts & theories being employed may not follow the schedule Reading assignments: At least 1 assignment per school year Select one book, read it and introduce it to classmates Why that book? What is that about? What do you want to share? Reflection and comments

On Quiz and Informal Test Cyclical quiz (MCQs, definitions and theories) without prior notice during lessons Informal test being conducted on chapter- based after school

Others Student presentation on discussion questions, projects and parts of past paper questions Student lecturing will be arranged only if time is allowed Open a book as your personal log-book to keep findings from discussion and lecturing Tutorials/Supplementary lessons will be held on day 4 Notes, assignments and marking schemes will be posted on the Internet a.s.a.p. English as CMI?
