6 PRODUCERS Organisms that use sunlight directly to make food. They do this through photosynthesis.

7 CONSUMERS Organisms that eat other organisms. Herbivores, carnivores, omnivores.

8 DECOMPOSERS Organisms that get energy by breaking down dead organisms. These are nature’s recyclers and produce water and carbon dioxide.
