27 QUALIFYING CRITERIA STUDENT MUST OBTAIN THE QUALIFYING GRADE
(MINIMUM GRADE D) IN ALL THE SUBJECTS UNDER SCHOLASTIC AND CO-SCHOLASTIC DOMAIN. OVERALL GRADE AND GRADE POINT(GP) IN EACH SUBJECT IS SUM TOTAL OF FA1+FA2+FA3+FA4+SA1+SA2 AVERAGE OF GRADE POINTS OF ALL SUBJECTS IS GIVEN AS CGPA (CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT AVERAGE). CGPA=SUM OF GP OF ALL 5 SUBJECTS / NO. OF SUBJECTS CGPA TO BE PROVIDED EXCLUDING ADDITIONAL 6TH SUBJECT AS PER SCHEME OF STUDIES.

STUDENTS MUST OBTAIN ATLEAST 25% MARKS IN A SUBJECT IN SA1+SA2 TO QUALIFY IN THAT SUBJECT. STUDENTS GETTING LESS THAN 25% MARKS IN SA1 +SA2 WILL BE AWARDED AN OVERALL GRADE OR (REFER TO CIRCULAR NO. ACAD.-05/2014 DATED 2 FEB 2014) EXAMPLE : FA(TOTAL) -26/40 SA (TOTAL)- 13/60 TOTAL MARKS : 39/100 EXPECTED GRADE: D GRADE OBTAINED IF MANDATORY 25% MARKS ARE NOT OBTAINED IN THE SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENTS, THE STUDENT WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR PROMOTION TO CLASS X. STUDENTS FAILING TO GET MINIMUM D GRADE AND STUDENTS HAVING OR IN ONE OR MORE SUBJECTS WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCE (EIOP) EIOP STUDENTS TO GET ONLY ONE CHANCE OF IMPROVEMENT

OF SUBJECTS UPSCALED 53-65 2 40-52 1 0-39 nil

30 NO UPSCALING FOR A1 OR E2 GRADE.
NO UPSCALING WILL BE DONE FOR SUBJECTS WITH OR NO GRADE CAN BE UPSCALED TWICE.
