7 How E-Mail Works When you send an E-mail message, your service provider sends it from server to server until it reaches the recipient’s server. The message remains on the recipient’s server until the recipient retrieves it. There is no charge for sending and receiving E-mail messages. If you subscribe to an Internet service ( ISP ) at home, your E-mail account is usually included in your monthly fees. The E- mail services we will show you are free and can be used at the library for no charge.

14 CAPTCHA First time user may be required to decipher the CAPTCHA code when creating an account. signing in for the first time or sending their first email message.
