4. treatment There is no known cure for dyslexia, however early intervention can help.  understand there limitations  Add more time for test and school work  Write down there daily routine instead of verbal commands  Seat the child near the teacher  If you have a large section of writing underline every second line in alternate colours  save the child the ordeal of reading aloud in class, pre reading can encourage self confidence  Most dyslexic children have difficulty self correcting as they write, allow time after for proof reading  Simplify math problems  Put decimal points in a different colour to make in more obvious  Allow extra time for homework  When giving written instructions make it straight to the point with a clear layout to prevent confusion
