4. University Common Requirements Transfer students are required to complete the University Common Requirements (UCORE) starting summer 2013. All students entering Summer 2013 (continuing to fall) will fulfill UCORE requirements Lower Division UCORE requirements are filled by a direct transfer agreement (DTA) and bachelor’s degrees (Rule 6g).

Students who have completed at least 70 transferable quarter credit hours toward completion of an approved AA degree may complete the Direct Transfer Associate (DTA) degree from a Washington or Oregon two-year college after their initial enrollment at WSU.

Completion of lower-division University Common Requirements (UCOREs) will be granted to students who have completed all of the lower-division general education curriculum at another regionally accredited Washington baccalaureate institution, provided the sending institution so certifies.
