Physical Needs Basic Needs: Required for Survival

Safety / Security Protects you from physical harm.
You feel both physically and emotional secure. Feeling safe from threats and danger. You need to feel safe in your surroundings and know what to expect. Parenting examples?

Love / Belonging You need to feel loved and accepted.

Esteem Knowing you have value and self-worth. Need for respect.
