2. February has been a time to celebrate and honor African-American history. This Month you will have the opportunity to honor the accomplishments of black Americans or events in American history.. This is a Extra Credit Project You may select a woman, man or event of Black ancestry and create a presentation about that person or event. It may be a inventor, writer, artist, politician, scientist, historic figure from the past, slave trade voyages, or the fight for freedom.
