1. CADRipper Pro Installation The CADRipper Pro is installed on either a 32-bit or 64-bit desktop computer running the latest updates for XP, Vista and Windows 7. For the easiest and simplest installation experience we recommend downloading and installing SQL Server 2008 R2 Advanced before installing CADRipper Pro. Install SQL Server 2008 R2 Advanced Install Power Shell Install AutoCAD 2011 or 2012 Install CADRipper Pro

2. SQL Server 2008 R2 Advanced With Full Text Search Enabled SQL Server 2005 Installed Upgrade to 2008 SQL Server 2008 Installed You need Advanced Services with Full-Text Search (default) You need to configure Mixed Mode (SQL Server authentication and Windows authentication)

3. Do I have SQL Server? Go to your Control Panel and look.

4. Download and Install SQL Server 2008 Express R2 Advanced From the Microsoft web site, download 64-bit SQLEXPRADV_x64_ENU.exe; or, download 32-bit SQLEXPRADV_x86_ENU.exe Accept all defaults until Database Engine Configuration. 7. Click RUN and WAIT SQL Server is a large install

8. New Installation or add features to an existing installation.

9. Upgrade SQL Server to 2008

17. Reporting Services Configuration If you have RSC, accept default

19. Install CAD Ripper Pro For 32-bit Unzip CRPSetup_32.zip Select CRPSetup_32.exe For 64-bit Unzip CRPSetup_64.zip Launch CRPSetup_64.exe Start AutoCAD and the CAD Ripper Pro starts.

20. Fill in all Fields if you don’t see Submit, expand the window

21. Stop/Start CAD Ripper Pro You can close the CAD Ripper Pro palette by clicking on the close icon. Type ‘CRP’ on the command line to re-start CAD Ripper Pro.
