The nickname of Illinois is the Prairie State. The Region is the Midwestern Region The capital city is Springfield. The three major cities are Rockford, Aurora, and Chicago. The population is currently 12,875,255 people

Some natural resources are coal, oil, and minerals. Illinois would be great for farming. It will be good because there is lots of rich, black soil. They grow corn, soy beans, oats, wheat, and produce livestock.
