Colorado River Runs through: Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California Major river of the Southwestern United States

Rio Grande River It starts in the Rocky Mountains
Flows through the entire state of New Mexico, Colorado, and around the entire southern boarder of Texas

Mississippi River The Mississippi River lies in the following ten US states: Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota

Ohio River Runs through Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio
Largest tributary to the Mississippi River. It is 981 miles long.

Hudson River It is located in New York, flows north to south. It also forms the boarder of New York and Mexico It is 315 miles long
