Sotheby’s Inventory excel spreadsheet A full inventory of the collection at Chatsworth undertaken by Sotheby’s in 2007. Covered the entirety of the collection, with over 10,100 records Initial editing was required to ready the spreadsheet for import. IO! Database Established circa 1998. Included most of the Fine Art collection with some sculpture, miniatures, watercolours etc. Over 1100 objects and 700 parties records, plus bibliography and conservation records. Accompanied by images. Photo Library Access database The Photo Librarian’s database for all image and copyright transactions Photo Library Extensis image database Image database which corresponded with the Photo Library Access database Standardisation of the use of columns. 14 Moving Forward Upgrade 2012 New Catalogue module sections
The first upgrade to the database took place in November 2012 Minor amendments to the database to suit our collection needs Addition of the Trap and Trap Events modules New Catalogue module sections Object Catalogue (Fine Art version) Archive Catalogue Gardens Catalogue Digital Asset Management (DAM) Catalogue Photo Library Photo Library section to the Events module – originally developed for St Andrews. Development of invoice reports. 14
