Background on Shakespeare William Shakespeare was born in the 1564 and lived till 1616. Shakespeare was know as one of the greatest English language writers to live. Shakespeare live in England on Henley street with his family. Shakespeare’s family consisted of his mother and father, John Shakespeare and Mary Arden, and his siblings. Shakespeare was the oldest out of four boys and he also had four sisters. In his later years he went a traveled around with a theater group. Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway and had three children. Modern Adaptations Swords gets turned into guns. Cars instead of carriages. Dressed modern instead of all girls in dress all the time. Ball has an elevator instead of stairs.
