© 2012 Royal College of Physicians of London, Accreditation Office About PPAT The PPAT has been designed to enable an endoscopy service to achieve control of endoscopy waits through better planning and improved productivity. Critically reviewing each objective of the tool will identify areas for improvement.

© 2012 Royal College of Physicians of London, Accreditation Office About PPAT It is recommended that a unit complete PPAT every six months in conjunction with the GRS census or with their annual accreditation report card. It is particularly important for units who have known waiting time problems to complete the PPAT and commit to an action plan.

© 2012 Royal College of Physicians of London, Accreditation Office PPAT Domains The PPAT is split into five domains, each of which contains a number of productivity-related objectives: – Demand and capacity (7 objectives) – Waiting List Management (6 objectives) – Booking and Choice (6 objectives) – Performance and Productivity (6 objectives) – Workforce (5 objectives)
