1. Your Special Day … … Just Got Better Function Information Brochure We are excited to help plan your upcoming function at Ekhidna Wines & Kitchen. We are located at the corner of Kangarilla and Foggo roads in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The venue is nestled amongst a Shiraz vineyard planted back in 1952. Our cellar door and restaurant features stunning views over an iconic McLaren Vale landscape. Our Cellar Door and Restaurant comfortably accommodates 50 guests for formal sit down functions or 110 guests for stand up social occasions. Our kitchen is very flexible and along with our chef we will work with you to design the perfect menu for your event. Menu and Beverage Packages: We offer flexible menu packages, allowing you freedom to plan and design your event. Customers are invited to refine the following packages. It is our goal to ensure you have everything planned exactly how you would like it. Please see over for pricing. We offer Two Beverage packages, the pay for consumption package, the ekhidna package and the Eagle package. Please see over for pricing information. Importantly, in addition to making great wine, we brew our own beer and make it available as part of both ‘all inclusive’ packages at no additional cost. Additional Details: Full Venue Hire: For just $750 (off-peak) or $1000 (peak), you can secure your very own winery and cellar door experience for that special day. Any functions booked whilst the cellar door tasting area is open (11am – 6pm) will be restricted to the Restaurant and Alfresco areas. Minimum of 50 people required for venue hire. Off peak - Monday - Wednesday Peak - Thursday – Sunday To secure your booking please pay this fee one month prior to your function date. Hours: Our ‘All Inclusive’ Beverage packages range from 2-5 hours and due to licensing requirements, service will need to conclude at 11:30pm. General: We are here to make your next function as easy to arrange and as exciting to host as possible. We will gladly work with you to customise any aspect of the event you choose. 2. Menu Options Ekhidna wines and kitchen are proud to offer you the following menu options, allowing you the freedom to create a menu catered to your specific requirements and needs. We are able to provide you with a cake (price varying) or if you would like to BYO cake/dessert cakeage charges apply. Soft drinks, beer & ‘bubbly’ can also be included as part of this package. There is also an optional inclusion of a bar limit, for those wishing to monitor spending, this can be updated during the night at the wishes of the host.
