7 Reasons for effective logos A successful logo is usually very simple in design. A simple drawing or symbol is sometimes used. Any writing is presented in a simple way and is easy to read. One or two colours are normally used The logo is easy to understand, even at a distance

8 Types of logos Wordmark logo – mainly uses text and typeface to create its message, though other elements might be included e.g. Google

12 Draw three well known logos and explain the shapes, words, font and colours that are used. Each person will choose a design and talks about the reasons why it’s effective. Class Task Design a logo that best represents you. You can use your favorite colours, shapes, your name, or letters from your name, symbols. Create an inspiration page of logo’s using illustrator
