34 Communications Publicity 2008 Objectives: To be published in the RAF News at least 4 times in 2008. To be published in RAF Active twice in 2008. To increase awareness of RAF Triathlon, the Sprint Series and training weekends. Publicity 2009 Objectives: To be published in the RAF News at least 6 times in 2009. To be published in RAF Active twice in 2009. To increase awareness of RAF Triathlon, the Sprint Series and training weekends (new initiative with AFCO/Tri24/7.com planned for 2009).

35 Communications RAF Tri website moved to the MOD system Massive amount of work involved – thanks Ben Livesey Less flexible than our own site – but it’s getting there Old site retained for email forwarding system AIRSPACE – allows us a members only section A good service relies on regular updating – membership input vital THE FORUM – upgraded to the full service, moderated, ‘pruned’ as required

37 La Santa 12 -19 Mar 09 -Flights, transfers, food, sports passes and rooms in La Santa paid for. -Trg Programme Sorted, pool lanes and conference room booked. -Authority with Sports Board and DIPCLEAR Sorted -Final Version of Admin Order with Sec -Only one bike hire was available (Jamie Simmonds), everyone else will have to bring their own bikes -Final actions required for Tour manager -Chase up those who haven’t paid their balance yet! ?@:*&^^%$!!! -Sort out last minute name changes and confirm names onto flights. -Buy Group Towergate Wilsons Insurance (when names are finalised) -Book Bikes onto ac (when names are finalised) -Sort out partial refunds for everyone (when names are finalised)

38 Cyprus 1-8 May 09 - Draft Admin Order with Sec -Personnel to make their own way to RAF Akrotiri and report to Roy Brunning by 1900 on 30 Apr. -Roy Brunning to direct trg programme. -Depart after Akrotiri 1200 on 8 May -Accommodation in Messes, Food PAYD -Sports Board Authority Granted. Funding = £150/person (max 12. Greater numbers will dilute cash available) -Remaining Actions for Tour Manager -Finalise Accommodation with Roy Brunning. -Finalise DIPLCLEAR WITH BFC JSU -Finalise and Release AO. -Currently have 13 names, on draft AO.
