A computer tower, also known as a computer case, is the enclosure that holds many components of a personal or office desktop computer. Also called a mini tower this type of computer system is the most common type of computer. This type of computer typically comes with a separate computer case, keyboard and mous e.

The destop system is still available but no as common as the tower computer. The destop system also comes with a separate computer case, keyboard, mouse and an optional monitor. In the destop system, the computer case lies flat on the desk with the monitor sitting on the top.

An extremely lightweight personal computer. Notebook computers typically weigh less than 6 pounds and are small enough to fit easily in a briefcase. Aside from size, the principal difference between a notebook computer and a personal computer is the display screen. Notebook computers use a variety of techniques, known as flat-panel technologies, to produce a lightweight and non-bulky display screen. The quality of notebook display screens varies considerably. In terms of computing power, modern notebook computers are nearly equivalent to personal computers.

Netbooks are a category of small, lightweight, legacy-free, and inexpensive laptop computers. At their inception in late 2007 [1] as smaller notebooks optimized for low weight and low cost [2] — netbooks omitted certain features (e.g., the optical drive), featured smaller screens and keyboards, and offered reduced computing power when compared to a full- sized laptop.

A Handheld PC, or H/PC for short, is a computer built around a form factor which is smaller than any standard laptop computer. It is sometimes referred to as a Palmtop A handheld device is very small computer – usually weighting less than a pound.
