Cost Breakdown: MO and Other Incoming Messages (MO) Other In general, all incoming messages (MO) are free. MO may come a couple different methods: Keywords If we have a keyword “example” then texting in, “example” to 69302 will be an MO Users may also send in messages which will be sent to the keyword inbox. If “example sample message” is sent to 69302, “sample message” will show up in the account’s inbox. Send Message If a user replies to any blast they have received from our system, without preceding the message with a keyword, it will be considered a “Text Reply.” These will cost no text credits and are submitted into the text reply inbox. Exceptions to the free MO rule: For mobile voting, each MO costs the user costs ½ a credit. For the shuffle responder, each MO costs the user ½ a credit. If the user is utilizing the API, he will be charged 1 credit for every MO. There are other circumstances where text credits must be used. Utilities Feature – Filters out invalid numbers from a CSV file. Each mobile number that is put through the utilities feature will cost 1 text credit. Any mobile numbers put through the utilities feature first can be imported into the system free of charge. Add/Import Contacts – Manually add or import contacts. Adding or importing numbers will cost 1 text credit per number, unless filtered through utilities first. If you choose to replace an existing phone number (already added or imported) when importing “All contact types” then you will be charged 1 text credit for each replaced contact. It will cost 1 text credit when import appointment reminders, unless the phone number has been run through the utilities feature, in which case it is free.
