2 Transfer from Other Departments When inventory is transferred from one department to another an Electronic Transfer document (NT1) will be processed in the CCART For items that have been acquired via a CCART be sure to verify that you have the item before accepting or finalizing the CCART document. Make sure to update the location in DEFINE or FRMS web portal system if needed Email INVccart@austin.utexas.edu with questionsINVccart@austin.utexas.edu

3 Inter-Agency Transfer Transfers from a state agency such as Texas Department of Transportation, University of Texas M.D. Anderson, Texas Tech University, etc., to The University of Texas at Austin A complete listing can be located herehere Requires UT-Austin to complete and sign the transfer form from the transferring agency Inventory Services will finalize the transfer form after confirming the receipt of the asset with the department

4 Non-Texas State Agency Transfer Transfers to the university from a non-Texas state agency or private institution e.g. Baylor University or Stanford University Usually occur as a result of a principle investigator (PI) transferring to the university or for equipment that is not being received by the University Development Office The non-Texas state agency should provide a transfer form of some sort and the receiving department should send the information to INVtransfer@austin.utexas.eduINVtransfer@austin.utexas.edu A written explanation for the transfer, along with any charges that will be assessed for the equipment, must accompany the form for processing
