A is for Augustus Waters. He is one of the main characters in “The fault in our stars.” Augustus ends up falling in love with Hazel.

3. B
B is for book, Augustus give each other their own favorite book read and call each other when they finish the book they were given.

4. C
C is for cancer. Hazel’s lungs “suck at being lungs” Because she had a type of cancer in her lungs & caused water to form In her lungs and she now has problems breathing. Augustus had cancer in his leg and had gotten it taken off, but then soon finds out he has cancer all over his body.

5. D
D is for death. Hazel losses Augustus to cancer & has to face her great and terrible “10”

6. E
E is for emotion because this book makes you feel many of them.

7. F
F is for Funeral, Augustus has cancer all over his body and soon dies

8. G
G is for “Guss” Because that is Augustus’s nickname.

9. H
H is for Hazel Grace Lancaster. She is one of the main characters. She has a type of lung cancer, and she is in love with Augustus.

10. I
I is for Issac, he goes to Support group with Hazel & Augustus. He is Augustus’s best friend. He also has cancer, he had it in his eye & had to get them removed.

11. J
J is for journal, Augustus had written a elegy to an imperial affliction and hid it in a journal that Hazel struggled to find.

12. k
K is for killing because the cancer kills Augustus.

13. L
L is for love, Hazel & Augustus are madly in love with each other.

14. M
M is for Metaphor because Augustus puts cigarettes in his mouth but doesn't light them because “ You put the killing thing between your teeth but you don’t give it the power to kill you.”

15. N
N is for New Hampshire because that’s There home town.

16. O
O is for okay, when hazel & Augustus talk on the phone they decided that “perhaps “okay” will be our always.”

17. P
P is for Peter Van Houten. He is the author of hazels favorite book.

18. Q
Q is for quiet because Hazel was always the shy and quiet girl until she met Augustus

19. R
R is for ready, this is something Hazel was not. She was not ready to loose Augustus.

20. S
S is for support group. Hazel, Augustus, & Isaac have to go to support group with other people who have or had cancer to help them stay strong.

21. T
T is for thyroid cancer, Hazel had thyroid cancer and it traveled up to her lungs.

22. U
U is for unbreakable because Hazel and Augustus were unbreakable

23. V
V is for vandalism, Because Hazel, Augustus and Isaac throw eggs at Isaac's Ex girlfriends house.

24. W
W is for wheelchair because Augustus had to be pushed around in one until he got better to walk on his own.

25. X
X is for x-ray. Augustus goes to the doctor and gets an x-ray and the doctors notice something is wrong and they soon find out he has cancer all over his body.

26. Y
Y if for yellow because that was Augustus’s favorite color.

27. Z
Z if for Zombie because Augustus’s favorite book had zombies in it.
