21 Guidance on Your Next Step Upgrade to Windows Server 2003 with one or two exams, then take advantage of the transition path to 2008, or By-pass Windows Server 2003 certification and take the 2008 exams when they become available You have your Windows Server 2000 MCSA or MCSE Tip: In either case, the number of exams is about the same. Upgrading to 2003 first gives you the benefit of proven skills on multiple platforms—and you can take action today.
