Key terms Birth Rate = the number of children born per 1000 people per year Death Rate = the number of deaths per 1000 people per year Migration = the movement of people from one place to another Immigrant= a person entering a country Life Expectancy = the average number of years a person is expected to live Infant Mortality = The number of babies out of every thousand born that die before the age of one Natural Increase= the difference between birth and death rate
