5 Designation of Equal Opportunity Officers Under the Workforce Investment Act, every State and Local Workforce Area is responsible for designating an Equal Opportunity Officer.

6 Designation of Equal Opportunity Officers State Governance Structures Single State Delivery System with a Single Workforce Agency State has a Single Workforce Agency with Designated Local Workforce Areas State has two Workforce Agencies with Designated Local Workforce Areas One State EO OfficerOne State EO Officer and one EO Officer for each local area.
