2015 Regional ADVANCE The Training Function & The National Director

“He appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.” Mk 3:14-15(NIV) “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.” 2 Tim 2:2 (NIV)

The pivot is “To train and equip men to fulfill the Great Commission.” The core of our Mission Statement is “To call men back to God.” In every successful organization, the Directors drive the CORE by holding the PIVOT. How is it with FGBMFI – Nigeria?

To remain relevant, Every National Director has to be an example by being personally & organizationally involved in calling men back to God Getting involved in the life of a chapter Personally sharing Christ & extending invitations to Chapter meetings Driving all our outreaches – Meal functions, FTO, MPO, Land & Air Lifts, etc

Don’t Just Tell, Show Them “He appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.” Mk 3:14-15(NIV) Equip Them Let Them Be With You Watch Them Do It Sit With Them To Evaluate

The director ensures effectiveness by TRAINING others to do the same Formal Training Zonal, Area & Chapter levels Training affords the ND the opportunity to change attitude, skill and knowledge of the men to help them grow into full maturity in life and ministry Informal Training On the Job Mentorship Counseling

To be effective, Training should be a planned & not a haphazard activity. Conducted after a thorough need analysis & targeted at certain competencies lacking in the men. Most importantly it is to be conducted in a learning atmosphere.

For more information on how to create a learning environment and present effectively, please check out our training slides on The Effective Trainer in the training package

NEED: What are the attitude, knowledge or skill gaps in my men? PLANNING & DESIGN: Which training package with effectively meet these needs? DELIVERY: How do I deliver this in the right learning environment? ASSESSMENT: How effective was my delivery? EVALUATION: Did the training fill the identified gaps? How can I improve?

Please call the following for assistance, especially in planning & design Paul Iluebbey 08055281389 Paul Iluebbey 08055281389 Kayode Oladipupo 08033516322 Kayode Oladipupo 08033516322 Emmanuel Victor 08023290597 Emmanuel Victor 08023290597 Tony Madugba 08033490378 Tony Madugba 08033490378 Ola Elesho 08033206627 Ola Elesho 08033206627 Tony Dadah 08037033549 Tony Dadah 08037033549

 How can the ND be personally & organizationally involved in calling men back to God?  Should training be one-time & restricted to January – March window?  How can we mobilize the men for training? Last year attendance: ND (92%) FR (86%) CP (51%)  How best can we monitor the effectiveness of our training?

Effective Training is a combination of SKILL and the ANOINTING. Strive to acquire the skill, But also, receive the GRACE through prayers and waiting on the Lord

Let Us PRAY

Using the Platform of Seminars and Advances to present Everyman Perfect

A seminar : a meeting in which you receive information on and training in a particular subject

An advance a definite time spent away from one's normal life for the purpose of reconnecting, usually in prayer and the word with God. Called an advance because it provides a platform for forward movement in our spiritual life or in a definite area of walk with God

Seminars &Advances address Total Man Issues The Wheel of Life Recognising that the mature man is Spirit Soul and Body. Addressing this within a Spiritual context The areas that other platforms do not address which affect our effectiveness is a creative or innovative way of passing across the gospel message or addressing a topical issue

Why Seminars &Advances Seminars allow opportunity to address specific needs and issues in the lives of our members They give quality attention to the key issues They allow flexibility in response times They are targetted and focussed hence have a high level of success They are keeping in line with the vision of the fellowship

Types of Seminars/Advances in use Current seminars in Use Advances Business Seminars Abundant Life seminars Seminar on Christians in Politics(National) Couples Advance Men/Women’s Advance Unfortunately this is scratching the surface as far as Seminars and advances

Current limitations faced Limited areas of Seminar advance focus Compare with vast areas of needs which need to be addressed and can be addressed Marriage issues Financial Intelligence Deliverance from indebtedness Personal effectiveness in a busy world Total man etc

Current limitations faced Limited areas of Seminar advance impact/spread Compared with numbers being reached and lack of fleibility Couples advance is a blessing but needs to be supported by seminars Business Seminars do not exclude business advances They have become centralised thus logistics limitations

Current limitations faced Limited areas of Seminar advance local needs address Currently most advances/seminars are /district/regional/National Local needs/flavour are a challenge Opportunities to use these instruments for local impact and growth is missed Zones, areas and Chapters are huge unused and untouched areas
