Algebra II March 2 nd Students should complete warm-up problems. Given a graph of a system of equations students will be able to determine how many solutions there are. Students will be able to carry out a procedure to solve a system of linear equations by graphing. Classwork – page 138, numbers 7-12

Algebra II March 3 rd Students should complete warm-up problems. Students will be able to solve a system of linear equations graphically using calculators. Given a real world problem and a system of linear equations, students will be able to identify what each variable represents. Classwork – Activity- finding solutions of real world linear systems using the graphing calculator.

Algebra II March 4 th Students should complete warm-up problems. Quiz on solving systems by graphing. Students will be able to solve a system of linear equations using substitution. Given a real world problem and a system of linear equations, students will be able to explain the relationship between the linear system and the real world problem it models. Homework – page 146, numbers 10-18

Algebra II March 5 th Students should complete warm-up problems. Review homework p146, 10-18 Students will continue to solve systems by substitution. Students will be able to create linear systems of equations to model real world problems.

Algebra II March 6 th Students should complete warm-up problems. Quiz on solving by substitution. Students will be able to solve a system of linear equations using elimination. Students will continue creating systems of equations to model real world problems. Homework – page 146, numbers 31-42
