3  Use a comma between the name of a city or town and the name of its province or country. Ex: Fredericton, New Brunswick New Brunswick, Canada  In writing an address as part of a sentence, use a comma after each item. Ex: The school address is 324 Fulton Avenue, Fredericton, New Brunswick, E3A 5G4.

4  Use a comma after the salutation of a friendly letter and after the closing of a friendly letter or a business letter. Ex: Dear Emery,Yours sincerely,
