The Shasta tribe were deeply spiritual people.

The Shasta tribe had many rituals, including the ‘Ghost dance.’

Shasta men hunted deer and rodents. They also ate acorns and berries.

The Shasta tribe used arrowheads to hunt. They also used animal skin to create clothing.

The Shasta territory included Northern California and extended into Oregon.

Unfortunately, there aren’t many Shasta Indians remaining today. The surviving Shasta Indians live on reservations in Oregon and throughout Northern California.
