A Handy Guide to Uniform

The Head Natural hair colour – no dip dye Subtle make up – no false eyelashes One earring in each ear – stud or small hoop (5p size) No facial piercings or tongue studs Hair clips and bands should have a function – not just decoration

The Body Rever collar blouse in white – any sleeve length allowed Black school blazer with school badge on pocket No necklaces, or bracelets (even charity bands) – religious symbols can be worn as lapel badges Optional black, v-neck jumper or sleeveless jumper – no cardigans No visible t-shirts under blouses Lapel badges should be school badges or charity badges only

The Hands No rings No nail varnish No false or acrylic/gel nails A wristwatch may be worn

Skirts and Trousers No more than 4 fingers above the knee Waistband must be on the waist Not to be rolled up Not clingy, stretchy fabric that will ‘ride up’ No splits ‘Office-type’ trousers – not jeans or skin tight trousers Plain, black belts only

Legs and Feet Tights should be plain and either black or sheer tan Socks should be black or white only Shoes should be flat or have a small heel. Preferably shoes should have laces or straps to hold them on, but should certainly not slip off when walking No boots, canvas shoes or trainers If the pavements are covered with snow or ice boots may be worn on the way to and from school

Coats, Hats and Scarves Coats may be worn on the way to and from school and when outside at break and lunchtimes Hoodies are never to be worn with school uniform – even on the way to and from school Hats and scarves may be worn on the way to and from school and when outside at break and lunchtimes
