System Power Up Step 1. Turn on the Power Conditioner Step 2. Press the ON button on the Extron MLC 226IP Controller to power on the projector The buttons on the controller will flash GREEN while the projector powers on. Wait until the controller returns to normal to use

TO PLAY VIDEO TAPES STEP 1. Insert video tape into DVD / VCR Combo Unit VCR / DVD

TO PLAY VIDEO TAPES STEP 2. Press the VCR button on the Extron MLC 226IP Controller

STEP 3. Make sure VCR/DVD player light on the DVD/VCR unit matches the source you want to play ~ (DVD for DVD discs or VCR for VCR tapes). TO PLAY VIDEO TAPES If the indicator light on the VCD / DVD unit does not have the correct source light lit up: (DVD for DVD discs or VCR for VCR tapes) press the VCR/DVD button on the remote or the unit to switch between the two.

STEP 4. Cue up tape to starting point by using remote & pressing “play” button. (Must be behind podium pointing remote at VCR). TO PLAY VIDEO TAPES

STEP 5. Adjust Volume as needed using the Volume knob

TO PLAY DVD STEP 1. Press the DVD button on the Extron MLC 226IP Controller

STEP 2. Open DVD Player and insert DVD TO PLAY DVD VCR / DVD

TO PLAY DVD STEP 4. Use the DVD Remote to navigate around the DVD Menu and play the DVD. (Must be behind podium pointing remote at DVD/VCR Combo Unit). NOTE: Must be in “TV” mode to see DVD movie in WIN TV window & send video to projector DVD

TO PLAY DVD STEP 5. Adjust Volume as needed using the Volume knob

TO USE ELMO DOCUMENT CAMERA STEP 1. Press the DOC CAM button on the Extron MLC 226IP controller

TO USE ELMO DOCUMENT CAMERA STEP 2. Unlock Document camera drawer. A Document camera is permanently installed in the side drawer of the podium. Set up lamps and use the camera per system training.

TO USE PC STEP 1. Press the PC button on Extron MLC 226IP controller

TO USE PC STEP 2. Power on the PC and use as usual

TO USE Optional Laptop Hookup STEP 1. Press the LAPTOP button on Extron MLC 226IP controller

TO USE Optional Laptop Hookup STEP 2. Hook laptop up to cable coming out of cable well on podium VGA Video Cable Audio Cable

TO USE Optional Laptop Hookup STEP 3. Use function keys (specific to your laptop) to activate laptop display

TO USE Optional Laptop Hookup STEP 4. Adjust Volume as needed using the Volume knob

OPTIONAL: To Black Out The Projection Screen Image Press the “PIC MUTE” button on Extron MLC 226IP controller once to black out the projection screen. While active, the button will blink RED Press the button a second time to return the screen to normal.

TROUBLESHOOTING: If the Projector Image Does Not Fit the Screen Press the “AUTO IMAGE” button on the Controller The projector should display Auto Adjust Setup before adjusting the image to its original format

SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE CHECKLIST Remove All Tapes, DVDs, CDs Shutdown PC Correctly Turn off Power Conditioner Press the “OFF” button to power off the Extron Controller and LCD Projector Lock Up Podium
