Trade Associations –Have a more intimate knowledge of profession –Establishes/raises standards of profession –The voice of the profession is more prevalent within the body and less cost to the State –Over arching interest outweighing the public good –No oversight (Financial, Judicial and/or Discipline) –Removal of checks and balances (promulgate /enforce/administer regulations)
