Education Dickens’s education began at William Giles’s School, Chatham. His parents dropped him from school. ''Although I am not an educated man, I am able, I am thankful to say, to have an intelligent interest in most things.'‘

Career and accomplishments Charles takes a job as a law clerk to bolster the family's income. Dickens leaves his job at a law office to work as a freelance reporter. He wrote for several London newspapers. Dickens' first piece of writing, the short story "A Dinner at Poplar Walk.”

Personal information Charles falls in love with young woman named Maria Beadnell. Charles now is major theater buff, stars in and also stage-manages three amateur plays. Dickens marries Catherine Hogarth. First child was born for Charles in 1837.

Conclusion He didn’t finish school, because he had problem with his family. Although he didn’t study and wrote some books that were famous. He got married and had children's. He proved that not being able to study doesn't stop you from working hard and being successful.
