1. Objective: Learn to multiply and divide integers

2.  If you multiply two integers with the same sign, you just have to multiply and the answer will always be positive.  For Example: 6(10) = 60 -6(-10)= 60  If you divide two integers with the same sign, you just divide and the answer will always be positive.  For Example: 60 ÷ 6 = 10 - 60 ÷ - 6 = 10

3.  When multiplying integers with different signs, you just multiply and the answer will always be negative.  For example: 11(-4) = -44 -11(4) = -44  When dividing integers with different signs, you just divide and the answer will always be negative.  For example: -14 ÷ 7 = -2 14 ÷ ( -7) = -2

4.  If you have an even amount of negative signs, you may multiply or divide and the answer will always be positive.  For example: (-6)(3)(-10) = 100 ÷ (-5) ÷ (-2) =  If you have an odd amount of negative signs, you may multiply or divide and the answer will always be negative.  For example: (-5)(-3)(-2) = -50 ÷ 5 ÷ 2 =

5.  When multiplying or dividing Integers:  + + = (+)  - - = (+)  same signs = positive answer  + - = ( - )  - + = ( - )  different signs = negative answer  When Multiplying or Dividing more than 2 Integers:  An even number of negative signs will give you a positive answer.  An odd number of negative signs will give you an negative answer.
