Legendary island Conquered parts of Western Europe and Africa Might be located in or near Mediterranean Sea Plato came up with the legendary island People thought the story was not real for a while Island dates back to 2800 B.C.E. and lasted until 1200 B.C.E. 1800’s people announced that story might be real

3 What do the experts say about Atlantis? Egyptians might have kept the legend alive but, Plato says no one knows what happened to Atlantis and who kept the legend alive Dr. Jon Henderson says that it is the oldest submerged town Submerged site was never reoccupies and it was a frozen period in time says Elia Spondylis Plato says Poseidon sunk city to live in it Older generations probably know more about Atlantis
