Overview Our Chef Apprentice Academy was launched on 20th September 2010 We have 20 Chef Apprentice places across the Metro estate for 2010 The Chef Apprentice Academy operates from Hilton Heathrow A 12 month structured programme with work experience in at least two different types of operation We are fully funding this programme - salary, knives, tuition fees, master classes and travel to the college

Overview 100% Hands-on real world culinary education NVQ Level 2 qualification in Professional Cookery and Food Preparation through block/day release Monthly reviews with the individual their Manager and with the Academy Manager On Successful completion of the programme, appointment as a Commis Chef at one of our Hilton Properties

Structure of the Programme Assigned a coach Chef Apprentice Menu Design Competition – Healthy Eating Executive Chef Master Classes 2 placements Educational Trips “Galvins experience” 1 day shadowing an Executive Head Chef Chef Apprentice of the Year Award
