Lucia Day.Eleven days before Christmas is Lucia day it is on December 13.The Swedish believe it is the longest night of the year.It is a night were the Swedish believe a man and a beast comes into people’s houses for extra nourishment A Lucia is the (Queen Of Light)..The Queen Of Light dresses in a white gown with candles on her head. She often brings food like coffee, ginger biscuits and wine named (glogg).

The way how boys and girls dress.This is the way boy and girls dress on the holidays.The boys wear tall coned shaped hat with decorated with stars around the hat.The girls wear glamorous outfits with glitter in their hair

How the Christmas tree is decorated.The way they decorate there Christmas tree is just like the United States dose like light candy, popcorn, pictures, and other stuff.The only thing that is different is the Swedish bring there Christmas tree into there houses one or two days before Christmas Eve

What the Swedish eat on Christmas.The Swedish have a big smorgasbord.Sweden's Christmas meal contains there occasion foods like ham, jellied pigs feet, lutfisk (porridge)

What the Swedish do on Christmas.The Swedish attend church very early in the morning.After the Swedish go to church they have a big feast with like ham, jellied pigs feet, lutfisk (porridge).After the meal the wait until the Tomte other know as the elf. The children put a bowl of porridge on the table for the Tomte to eat. The Tomte comes and leaves presents under the tree.The Swedish Christmas lastes for twenty days from December 13 to January 14
