As protein source, 8 to 15% of ration DM As an energy source, > 15% of ration DM May reduce acidosis because highly digestible fiber in place of starch Wt gains & feed efficiency of cattle fed wet distillers grains usually better than with corn Wt gains and feed efficiency of cattle fed dry distillers grains usually similar to corn At 15 to 25% of ration DM, wet distillers grains has it greatest value Protein and energy in distillers grains have value DM intake may be reduces when wet distillers grains > 30% of ration DM Probably feeding excess protein Feeding excess P P does not have value for finishing cattle fed corn
