4  As an Architect I concentrated my efforts on the technical aspects of practice  I effect, I was responsible for the implementation of the vision

5  As a Project Architect for nearly 10 years I worked on a number of award winning projects  Detailing  Contracts  Construction Administration

6  18 Years of A/E defense experience  Panel Counsel for a number of large A/E insurance carriers  A number of reported cases that advance A/E defense jurisprudence with cases ranging into tens of millions of dollars at issue  Well over $100 million in total alleged liability defeated

7  AIA Detroit Young Architect  Lawrence Technological University School of Architecture Distinguished Alumni  Elevated to the AIA College of Fellows

8  I was a founding member of the AIA Michigan Government Affairs Committee  23 years ago that committee became a forerunner of, and pattern for much of the AIA national government affairs capability of today

9  AIA Michigan Government Affairs is responsible for a number of advancements;  Standing to sue to enjoin Unlicensed Practice  School Construction  Unlicensed Practice as a Felony  Barring the use of Sole Negligence Clauses

10  Chair of Government Affairs  The AIA Michigan Design Retreat Committee  AIA National Licensing Committee  AIA National Risk Management Committee  The National Diversity Council  Director Representing the Michigan Region

11  Adjunct Professor, University of Detroit Mercy, Graduate School of Architecture. Architectural and Construction Law Courses  Adjunct Professor, Lawrence Technological University, Graduate School of Architecture. Law for Architects courses  Developed some of the initial on-line course materials  Nearly 15 years of total experience with a total of nearly 900 students

12  Extensive speaking on Architectural practice and cutting edge liability issues throughout the US and Canada  Keynote addresses at various AIA functions, allied professional functions and foreign professional association functions  Responsible for making well over 100,000 hours of CE available to Architects throughout North America
