Around the World in a Day Material: Plaster gauze, paint, feathers, shells, string, and sticks Artist Statement: My inspiration was a sun and moon. I thought that I would add a twist to it. The sun and moon goes around the world in a day so why couldn’t mine?

Sandy Beach Material:Watercolor paints, salt, and a paintbrush Artist Statement:I wanted to paint something delicate and look soft. I decided to do it on the beach with shells and flowers. I used stippling to create the sand texture.

A Russian Farm Material: Colored Pencils Artist Statement: I chose to do a farm because I found a picture that worked for me. I tried to use all of the 5 techniques. I chose tranquil colors and it worked in the picture.

Obsessive Starfish Watercolors I hate how I did this. I didn’t spend enough time on this. I am too obsessed with Nebraska football.

Shades’s Evil Twin Plaster Gauze I love how I did this. I like the shades and eyeball cannon. The beads around its head were cool.

Postcards Pencils I am unsure whether I like this or not. This project wasn’t my favorite. From Guatemala
