The mission of the New Jersey Council of County Colleges is to provide statewide leadership for the advancement of New Jersey’s 19 community colleges and to perform sector coordinating responsibilities as required by state law. 4 New Jersey Council of County Colleges About: Coordinated by the NJ Center for Student Success, NJC4 is a statewide completion and transfer campaign consisting of a series of campus-based completion events designed and implemented by Phi Theta Kappa student leaders, all taking place within a designated week. Interest: Digitally Survey Chapters for Statewide Interest Awareness: Hold Statewide Conference Calls with PTK Advisors and Student Leaders Commitment: Distribute Chapter Commitment Form Inventory: Distribute Chapter Event Form Launch: Visit colleges, hire videographer and promote program Roadmap: NJ Community College Completion Challenge

8 New Jersey Council of County Colleges Funding NJC4 Partnership with New Jersey Education Association NJEA represents 90,000 K-12 stakeholders, including faculty & staff at NJ Community Colleges Advocates for community colleges as the NJEA’s New Jersey County Colleges Association Funded local activities for all 19 chapters and statewide viral campaign Invested $15,000 in NJC4 (2013, 2014, 2015) Partnership with Kean University Public 4-year Institution Invested $10,000 in NJC4 (2015)
