3. About Me Hello, my name is Carissa Gilson. I am the middle of three daughters, who grew up in Economy, Pa. Starting dance at age three, I have been involved in the arts for as long as I can remember. Alongside dancing for eleven years, I have played the saxophone, along with other instruments starting in middle school and continuing through high school. I have been involved with theatre for just as long by volunteering for school productions since seventh grade. After graduation, I traded my suburban life for the city and moved to Pittsburgh. I am currently a senior at Point Park University. I am pursuing a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Stage Management and a focus in Wardrobe Supervision with the Conservatory of Performing Arts. Along with theatre, I love to spend my free time hanging out with my sisters and friends. I also enjoy watching Disney movies, Game of Thrones, White Collar, and How I Met Your Mother. After graduation I plan to move out of Pittsburgh, and gain theatrical experience in new areas.
