5. Times Table Cards – The rules! Depends on the class* You will get your new tables on Monday* Your test will be on Friday* Spend about 5 minutes a day on them practising – get someone to help you. The first week you will start with your times table x a number e.g. 2x 1 =, 2 x 2 =, 2 x 3 = If you get 12 out of 12 correct for 2 weeks you move on.

6. The next card to learn will be a number x your times table e.g. 1 x 2 =, 2 x 2 =, 3 x 2 = If you get 12 out of 12 correct for 2 weeks you move on. The next card you learn will be division facts about your times table e.g. 2 ÷ 2 =, 4 ÷ 2 =, 6 ÷ 2= If you get 12 out of 12 correct for 2 weeks you move on. The final set will be a mixed set of questions both x and ÷. If you get 12 out of 12 correct for 2 weeks you move on to the next times table!
