Effective prosecution of waste shipment criminality Illegal waste shipments are prosecuted as crimes acc. to § 326 German criminal code Direct and prompt information on suspected illegal shipments from environment authorities to prosecuting agencies speed up proceedings Specialized investigators in police units for effective waste shipment crime investigations Public prosecutors with special knowledge in waste shipment law can bring prosecution to an effective end
