2. On 10 march 1876 Alexander Graham bell created the first telephone. He used electrical waves for transmissions via cables or other transmission media over long distances, and replays such signals in audible form to its user. Alexander Graham Bell

3.  The western electric model 500 telephone series was the standard desk style telephone sold by the bell system in North America from 1950 to the 1980’s. Millions of model 500 series phones were produced and were present in almost every home in North America. Many are still in use today because to their durability.

5. The 2500 series was made by Western Electric from 1968 until the break up of the Bell System in 1984. It was a natural upgrade to the 1500 series, using a 12-button push button dial and faceplate.
