Madame Pommery took over the business after the death of her husband in 1858. A unique estate : this Elizabethan-style castle attracts more than 130 000 visitors every year. POMMERY GRAND CRU 2004 Blend: 60% Chardonnay, 40 Pinot Noir Grapes selected from 7 grand cru villages in exceptional locations with south-south-east exposure Champagne aged a minimum of 4 years in our chalk cellars Small dosage at less than 7g/liter Tasting Note: Color: Pale yellow with green highlights. Tiny, continuous bubbles Nose: Floral notes with hints of bee wax and honey are intertwined with fresh dried lemon scent finishing on creamy notes and brioche scents Palate: Fresh and delicate. All the sensations on the nose express themselves with delicate flavors of white flowers.
