Lean Six Sigma- Utilizing a problem solving method focusing on rapid implementation of tasks correctly initially, while reducing wait times. (Six Sigma Introductions, 2009)

Operational Guidelines of Lean Six Sigma: Evaluates facts, data and statistical analysis to manage, improve and re-invent processes to ultimately improve patient care. Provides an organizational approach focusing on patient’s values while serving the customer’s needs. Goal: Reduce hospital length of stay (LOS).
