BAROMETERS A barometer is a devise used to measure air pressure.

It is read in units of millibars (mb) or thousandths of a bar.

Psychrometers Measures relative humidity based on the effects of evaporation. It is measured as a percentage (%).

Psychrometers To use, you must hold the handle and swing rapidly in a circle. This measures a dry-bulb temperature. There are two thermometers: Dry bulb Wet bulb.

ANEMOMETERS An anemometer is a devise used to measure wind speed (km/h).

HYGROMETER A hygrometer is a weather instrument used to measure relative humidity (how much water vapor is present in the air). It is measured as a percentage (%).

A RAIN GAUGE A rain gauge is a weather instrument which measures the amount of rain which falls. Usually reported as inches or centimeters.
