Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office Why do we have a Neighborhood Watch  There are 170,395 citizens in the unincorporated part of the county (2009)  There are 119 Deputies including the Sheriff  9 administrators  14 detectives  13 Sergeants  7 Specialty Deputies, CRO, SRO, PIO, training, civil service, ect  12 K-9 and Traffic

Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office Why do we have a Neighborhood Watch  That leaves 63 deputies for Patrol  24 hours so there are 21 deputies per shift  7 days a week but deputies only work 5 days a week, plus vacation and sick days  That gives us 9-12 deputies on at any one time to answer the 95,000 calls for service we receive annually
